An Appeal for People of Faith to Intercede for our Nation on July 5th

God is very clear in II Chronicles 7:14 : "If my people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear their prayers, I will forgive their sin, and I will heal their land."
Now more than ever do we need God's forgiveness as a nation who has repeatedly pushed Him out of our culture, our schools and our government. We have made it legal to murder innocent babies and homosexuality acceptable, though God calls it an abominable and egregious sin with dire consequences. God is a merciful and forgiving God. It's never too late to humble ourselves before Him, seek His mercy and ask Him for revival. We are also called to pray for our leaders and all those in authority (I Tim. 2:2). Only God can change the hearts of man and THAT is the change we need.
