Deadly and Determined--The Left's Relentless Assault on Decency

That’s the only way I know to describe the left’s unwillingness to understand that the majority of American’s still believe that homosexuality is a moral choice that they oppose and do not want forced upon them or their children. Yet every time we turn them back, they return with a new approach.
Earlier this year millions of Americans said no to hate crimes legislation which provided special status to homosexuals. Our sources in Washington tell us this horrible affront to free speech and freedom of religion is about to surface again so be prepared. We will keep you informed with up to the minute developments.
This time it’s ENDA, which is an acronym for Employers Non-discrimination Act. While it sounds so fair and innocent, once you take a closer look you realize that once again, homosexuals and their allies in Congress are seeking to force people of faith to affirm and even participate in what we clearly believe to be wrong, based on our theological convictions.
This legislation, promoted by the homosexual power team including Congressman Barney Frank who is himself a homosexual, is designed to force business owners, regardless of their personal religious objections, to provide job opportunities for those who not only want to work, but be allowed to show up on alternate days dressed as a woman or a man, and who may cause co-workers discomfort as they choose different restrooms on different days. Currently it is legal for employers in 31 states to fire someone for being homosexual. This federal legislation would trump state laws.
No one is for discrimination in the workplace, and a simple solution to this perceived problem is for men to come to work dressed like men, women to come to work dressed like women, and everyone keeps their mouth shut about their sexual proclivities while working.
An employer should have the right to fire anyone, homosexual or heterosexual, who chooses work time to discuss how and with whom they choose to have sex. That we are having this discussion reveals how far down the road to Gomorrah we have traveled.
I detest these kinds of battles, but as long as Barney and friends choose to pick the fights, we must be prepared to mobilize and win the fights for the sake of decency and our children. The Employment Non-Discrimination Act would make it illegal for employers to make decisions about hiring, firing, promoting or paying an employee based on sexual orientation or gender identity. Churches and the military would be exempt, at least at first.
"We know it's (the vote in Congress) going to be very close," said Matt Barber, policy director for cultural issues for Concerned Women for America.
This legislation will undermine the rights of people who oppose homosexuality for religious reasons. "It would force Christian, Jewish, Muslim business owners to leave their faith at the workplace door," Barber said.
"It is affording extra protection to a group that has not been disadvantaged," said Tom McClusky, vice president of government affairs for the Family Research Council, a socially conservative group.

Please consider forwarding this important information to your entire personal e-mail list and encourage them to sign up for these alerts. The more concerned Americans we can recruit and educate the greater will be our chances of stopping this madness.
By the way, if you find yourself in a workplace environment where you are being forced to undergo sensitivity training and diversity indoctrination, then take advantage of the new openness that is being advocated and insist on your right to share your faith in the Lord Jesus. After all, if you are required to be tolerant, surely they will tolerate your love for the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
