Pedophiles Protected in Hate Crimes Bill!!!

In the recent weeks you have received several emails urging you to contact your Congressman and demand they vote no to H.R. 1913 - the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act. If passed any pastor, Bible teacher, Sunday School teacher, youth leader or anyone else could face prosecution for "conspiracy to commit a hate crime" if he or she teaches against homosexuality and an individual who hears the message then goes out and commits a crime against a homosexual.
On April 23 the bill was passed out of the House Judiciary Committee with a partisan vote of 19-12. During the second day of hearings Rep. Steve King (R-IA) presented a final amendment that insisted would specifically exclude pedophiles under "sexual orientation."
Lesbian Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) spoke for House Judiciary Democrats in objection, saying that King's amendment was "unnecessary and inflammatory." Republicans valiantly tried to object, but were cut off by Judiciary Chairman John Conyers (D-MI) who claimed that he "hadn't noticed" that they wanted to debate Baldwin's position.
During the last few minutes of the hearing, irate Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) again tried to limit "sexual orientation" to exclude pedophiles but liberals rejected the demand for specificity.
The powerful message is clear: all brands of homosexuality, no matter how aberrant or deviant, are welcome and protected under the hate crimes banner. The bill will make every type of gay, lesbian, cross-dresser, transsexual and bi-sexual a federally protected class under United States civil rights laws.
Meanwhile, if a left wing zealot shouts obscenities at a Veteran returning from Iraq and calls them a baby killer or murderer, those remarks will be considered free speech and protected by the First Amendment. If this outrages you as much as does me, then join me and help me flood the members of Congress with faxes today! I have already made my personal contribution toward this project. Please send your faxes, make calls and send this email to everyone you know. To do nothing is not an option!
The entire House is expected to vote on the bill this Wednesday, April 29.
