The latest news from Vision America Action in New Mexico Pastor Rick Scarborough We have now conducted a total of eight Pastor Policy Briefings around the state of Approximately 500 Pastors and leaders have attended one or more of our outreach events over the past three months as we lead up to the elections of 2008, which will be a defining moment in the life of our nation. Still remaining in September are four more “One Day Crusade to Save America” events featuring General Jerry Boykin, a retired three star Brigadier General and Stephen Baldwin, the actor. The dates and locations for the remaining “One Day Crusade to Save America” are: 9/11/08: 9/12/08: 9/24/08: Church on the Move, 9/25/08: 1st Assembly of God, General Boykin was a founding member of the Delta Forces and spent his entire military career of 36 years serving in or commanding Delta Force. General Boykin is a genuine military hero and his biography, Never Surrender, chronicles his involvement with every major special ops military operation our nation has engaged over the last 36 years, and how his faith in Christ defined him as a person and as a soldier. He holds two Purple Hearts and numerous medals for valor. Stephen Baldwin has over 60 films to his credit and comes from a family of famous actors, but on September 11, 2001, his world was turned upside down, and he surrendered his life and career to Jesus. His book, The Unusual Suspect, taken from a movie in which he starred, details the centrality of his faith. In it he explains how the testimony and prayers of a faithful wife prepared him to receive Christ on that fateful day in the life of our nation.
