Supreme Court Asked to Take Up Case of Obama’s Citizenship

(CNSNews.com) - The U.S. Supreme Court justices are set to meet Friday, Dec. 5, to decide whether to hear a case challenging Barack Obama's elibility to serve as president of the United States.
 
Some Obama critics question whether he is a "natural born citizen," as the U.S. Constitution requires all presidents to be. Obama says he was born in Hawaii, but critics complain that he has refused to produce his original birth certificate – and that has given rise to a number of conspiracy theories and lawsuits.
 
The Obama critics, several of whom have filed lawsuits challenging his eligibility to be president, believe Obama was born in Kenya and may be a citizen of Indonesia.
