Palin Defeats Biden the Old Fashion Way
Oct 03, 2008
by: Richard Scarborough
OCTOBER 3, 20008-- Vision America Director Rick Scarborough is available for Talk Show interviews to discuss how Faith Voters are united in their view that Governor Sarah Palin clearly defeated Joe Biden in last night’s debate. The following is a statement from Rick Scarborough: “The gloves were off and the pundits stepped aside while the two Vice Presidential candidates took center stage for their only planned debate, and what a revelation Americans received. Instead of the Saturday Night Live version of Sarah Palin, what America saw was the Monday morning Sarah, an every day person who got fed up with politicians cramming money in their own pockets while spending their life getting re-elected saying whatever people want to hear, and decided to do something about it.

Montana Law Disdains the First Amendment
Aug 04, 2008
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON – Today, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals will hear arguments in a case that could further destroy the First Amendment’s protection of speech for pastors. In 2004, the Montana Commissioner of Political Practices investigated the Canyon Ferry Road Baptist Church after a homosexual activist group filed a complaint. The group claimed the church violated Montana law because it supported a proposed state marriage amendment without registering as a political committee. The commissioner agreed with the complaint and the church then decided to stand up for its rights and filed a suit challenging the constitutionality of the law.

Vision America President Dr. Rick Scarborough called the certification of the California Marriage Protection Act (a constitutional amendment) for the November ballot, “a victory for the family, democracy and sanity.†On May 15, the California Supreme Court imposed same-sex marriage on the largest state in the country. Jun 04, 2008
Vision America President Dr. Rick Scarborough called today’s decision of the California Supreme Court – denying a motion for a stay of its infamous May 15 gay marriage decision – “a affront to democracy.†Said Scarborough, “I don’t know why they don’t just hang a sign outside the California Supreme Court building that says: “Until further notice, representative government hereby suspended by court order.†Scarborough added: “Two weeks ago, the California high court created a ‘right’ to homosexual marriage out of thin air. In so doing, the majority declared unconstitutional a 2000 referendum for a statue providing that marriage in California consists only of the union of a man and a woman.â€
