This
nation�s founding principles, the
principles of our culture and our government � were Judeo-Christian
and based on centuries of biblical philosophy. Under the protection of
God�s hand, this country has prospered like no other in the history of
mankind. This was not a coincidence. Our nation has been blessed because
�In God We Trust� was more than a motto on our currency. Indeed, for
most of our history, the majority of our people have put their trust in
God and His principles to guide our destiny. But times are changing.
Proverbs 29:2 tells us that,
�When
the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice, but when the
wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.�
And true it is.
Today,
America is facing a moral crisis. The very
foundations upon which our nation was built are being destroyed. Family
values are being shattered ... the sanctity of marriage is being
challenged ... and the unborn are without protection. Violence and
pornographic materials flood the media and the bookshelves of our land,
and our sense of righteousness, decency and virtue have become dulled.
The very right to express our religious and civil freedoms is in
question. In an environment such as this, the question must be asked,
�How long will God continue to keep His hand of protection on a nation
that has turned from Him?�
It is time for
Americans who love this land and care about her future to stand together
and proclaim, �Enough is Enough!� These concerns are the very reason
that Vision America has emerged to join other voices that cry out for
our nation to come back to God. Indeed we believe that Vision America
has been raised up
...
�For such a time as this.�
